Overlay

Reasons for Using a Coloured Overlay:

At least half of people with SpLD or dyslexia have subtle visual problems. These may include:

  • Eye strain
  • Headaches
  • Missing out bits of text
  • Losing place on the page
  • Blurred or double vision
  • Fatigue while reading
  • Visual perceptual distortions
  • Text appearing to move or swim
  • Flashing colours or patterns
  • Shapes or interference on page
  • Glare from white paper
